New Website Revolutionizes The Way The Military Travels

Site allows active duty military to find others who are traveling in the same direction so they can ride together and save some green.

A recently launched website has quickly begun to change the way active duty military members' travel, by allowing them to log on and connect with others who might be traveling in the same direction for long weekends, vacation, and base transfers.  This new online service is targeted specifically to military members and word has spread rapidly throughout the armed forces about the site.  Since the site's launch on Sept 12, 2008, there have been over 5000 hits on the site and there are currently multiple posts of people offering rides or requesting a ride home.

"Your website idea is terrific, and benefits all of us." says a Lt Col in the Air Force.  "This is a GREAT idea, I'm already trying to find a rider to Ft. Benning in April!" says a female Soldier from Chicago.  Another Air Man says, "Your entire concept is outstanding".

Jennifer McGillis, founder of the site, says she never imagined the popularity of the site would catch on this quickly.  "I would have never dreamed this would take off the way it has.  But, that was the idea all along, to help my fellow military members travel together and hopefully save some money."  In short, saving money is the pulse beat of this website, meaning membership is free.
